Where can the indoor defibrillator cabinet be used?
The cabinet is only suitable for indoor use. Install it easily on the wall of your hospital ward, communal residential care home area, shop, restaurant, office building, function venue, or hotel lobby. Wherever you need a defibrillator close at hand, this cabinet can be used to house and protect it.
At eye level, your defibrillator is easier to find. Be sure to install it in a public area rather than a restricted one to reduce the chance that someone can’t get to it in time.
Depending on your risk assessment, you may wish to install the cabinet closest to places of high cardiac arrest risk, such as cardiology wards. If you’re installing a public access defibrillator cabinet with an AED as an extra measure, it might be a good idea to set it up in a place of high footfall or an open-plan area where it can be seen from a distance.
