BS8599-1:2019 Critical injury kit
The Steroplast critical injury first aid kit (also known as Bleed control kit) is specifically designed to control and stop severe blood loss in the event of a stabbing or similar injury.

Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kit
The Public Access Trauma Kit has been designed in response to the devastating Manchester Arena terrorist attack in 2017. It allows the public to treat traumatic, life-threatening injuries, even if they have no first aid training.
The contents of this kit include items that can stop major bleeding and treat irregular breathing, improving the chance of a victims survival and recovery.

How to use Steroplast's trauma dressing
The non-adherent dressing pad has a single directional action enabling the blood to pass through into the absorbent fibre. The super-absorbent pad is capable of absorbing over twice its weight in fluid, protecting the wound from contamination.
1. Remove from the waterproof pack and sealed sterile bag.
2. Place directly onto the wound.
3. Speed of application is easy, plus direct pressure applied.
4. Direct pressure quickly stems blood flow and protecting the wound from contamination.
5. Quick to secure with velcro fastening.
6. Casualty can now be moved to allow medics to deal with other injuries.
