How to Use the Scian Deluxe Digital Blood Pressure Monitor
Before You Begin:
- Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- Avoid eating, caffeine, smoking, or exercise for at least 30 minutes before measuring.
- Rest for a few minutes before taking a reading.
Fitting the Cuff:
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm, about 2cm above the elbow.
- Keep your arm relaxed and positioned at heart level.
Taking a Measurement:
- Press the power button to turn on the device.
- Press start, and the cuff will inflate automatically.
- Wait for the measurement to complete.
Reading the Results:
- Your systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate will appear on the screen.
