- Wash your hands before treating any wound.
- Gently clean the area with clean running water or sterile wound wash, then pat dry.
- If there’s any dirt or debris, use clean tweezers to remove it. Do not attempt to remove anything embedded in the wound—see a medical professional instead.
- Peel back the protective backing to expose the plaster’s central pad and place it directly over the wound.
- Smooth down the adhesive edges firmly to create a complete seal.
