The contents of this kit are used in medical environments such as NHS hospitals, emergency services, and first aid organisations like the British Red Cross. It includes 500ml of sterile water, which ensures an injury can be adequately and hygienically cleaned before a dressing is applied, avoiding any potential for infection. Other items like dressings and wipes are sterile to help you maintain hygienic wound management when you’re away from the ideal facilities.

The burn dressing in this kit will cool the burn without the need for running water, relieving the pain and allowing you to either keep on working or drive back to the practice. The burn dressing can be held in place with the bandage also included in the kit.
