How to Use Milton Sterilising Fluid

For Baby Accessories:

Before starting, peel the label for important precautionary measures.

  1. Clean: Begin by washing bottles, teats, and breastfeeding equipment with warm soapy water, preferably using the Milton baby bottle cleaner. Thoroughly rinse them with cold water afterwards.
  2. Prepare the Solution: Fill your container with 5L of tap water and mix in one full cap (30ml) of Milton Fluid, achieving a 0.6% v/v dilution.
  3. Sterilise: Fully submerge the items in the solution, ensuring they are covered with the liquid. Close the container's lid and leave items to soak for a minimum of 15 minutes. After which, give them a rinse. You can leave items in the solution for up to 24 hours; simply ensure you renew the solution daily.

For Household Hygiene:

  1. Clean: Before disinfecting, make sure all surfaces are clean.
  2. Prepare the Solution: For surface disinfection, mix 5 caps of Milton Fluid with 5L of tap water, giving you a 3.0% v/v dilution.
  3. Disinfect: Apply the prepared solution at a rate of 30mL/m² using a cloth or wipe, ensuring surfaces are entirely wetted. Allow the solution to act for 5 minutes, then rinse with water. This is particularly effective for disinfecting tabletops, work surfaces, fridges, waste bins, chopping boards, and cups.

Note: The solution type is a soluble concentrate (SL) biocidal product, specifically PTO2 and PTO4, designed for surface disinfection. It is perfect for areas involving food and feed but is not intended for direct application on humans or animals.

The Versatility of Celox Granules in Wound Care

Military-icon-80px

Tailored for High-Risk Scenarios

Celox Haemostatic Granules are primarily designed for use in high-risk, life-threatening situations where rapid bleeding control is crucial. They have demonstrated effectiveness in managing severe bleeding, be it from a traumatic injury or in a surgical setting. This makes them an invaluable addition to first-aid kits for environments such as hospitals, emergency medical services, military combat zones, and other high-risk scenarios.

Irregular-Wound-Icon-80px-transparent-V2

Using Celox for Complex and Irregular Wounds

Traditional methods of stopping bleeding can be ineffective on irregularly shaped or puncture wounds. Celox Haemostatic Granules, on the other hand, excel in such scenarios.

Wipe-icon-80px-transparent

Removing Celox Post-Application: An Easy Process

The convenience of Celox doesn't stop at the application. Once the bleeding has been controlled, and professional medical attention is available, the granules can be easily removed. The granules are designed to form a gel-like clot that adheres to the wound surface. This clot can be gently rinsed or wiped away with sterile water or saline solution, leaving no residue and minimising any discomfort during the cleaning process.
