Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kit
Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kit designed for non medical trained use to support life-threatening injuries.
Why was the Public Access Trauma First Aid Kit created?
In response to the devastating Manchester Arena Bombing in 2017, the National Counter Terrorism Security Office collaborated with medical experts to create this kit.
Why is it important for businesses to prepare?
The National Counter Terrorism Security Office has recommended that businesses improve their first aid equipment available to the public.
If major bleeding isn't stopped, a person can bleed to death in five minutes. Having access to these products at the scene of an attack could be the difference between life and death, and increase chances of recovery. That's why the Public Access Trauma First Aid Kit includes products that can specifically treat injuries such as deep cuts or loss of limbs, including Tourniquets and Trauma Bandages.
