Piriton Allergy Tablets contain 4mg of chlorphenamine maleate in each tablet and are used for the relief of symptoms linked with hay fever and other allergies. They may also be used for skin-related allergic reactions such as hives, nettle rash, prickly heat, heat rash and dermatitis, as well as reactions to insect bites, foods, food additives or certain medicines. These tablets can also be used for the itchy rash associated with chickenpox.
Suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over, Piriton Allergy Tablets are available in packs of 30 or 60 tablets. For oral use, they should always be taken in line with the instructions in the enclosed leaflet. As this medicine may cause drowsiness, care should be taken when driving or using machinery, and alcohol should be avoided. Each tablet also contains lactose.

These tablets are suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over. They are not recommended for children under 6 years. Elderly patients should speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use, as a lower daily dose may be needed.
