Use this nebuliser solution exactly as prescribed by your doctor, pharmacist or prescribing clinician. It should be used with a compatible nebuliser device.
Use the number of single-dose units advised by your doctor or pharmacist. The dose can vary depending on age and individual treatment needs.
Set up the nebuliser according to the device instructions.
Twist open one single-dose unit.
Empty the contents of the vial into the nebuliser chamber.
Use the mouthpiece or face mask provided with your nebuliser and inhale the mist as directed until the dose has been taken.
Throw away the used single-dose unit after use. Do not reuse opened vials.
Clean the nebuliser parts after use in line with the device manufacturer’s instructions.
Adults and adolescents over 12 are commonly prescribed 1 to 2 single-dose units, 3 to 4 times a day. Children aged 6 to 12 may be prescribed 1 single-dose unit, with the timing between doses decided by a doctor. In children under 18, nebulised reliever medicines should only be used under medical supervision.
Store below 25°C. Keep the vials in the outer carton to protect them from light. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
