What is Hypafix tape used for?
Hypafix is chemically inert to rubber and plastics and is used to secure devices such as tubes, catheters, measuring devices and instruments.
Hypafix can also be used to secure non-adhesive wound dressings to the skin, without affecting the injury and without the constriction of blood circulation.
How to use Hypafix tape
- Cut the roll of tape to the required size
- Remove the protective foil
- Place the dressing on the required area and peel off the protective film
- Smooth out the tape, applying only slight pressure
