How to Take Chlorphenamine Tablets
Always take Chlorphenamine 4mg Tablets exactly as described in the patient information leaflet, or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.
Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food.
Dosage:
- Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children aged 6 to 12 years: Take half a tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 3 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children under 6 years: Not recommended.
Do not take more than the stated dose. If symptoms continue, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.
Important:
- This medicine may cause drowsiness. Do not drive or use machinery if affected.
- Avoid drinking alcohol while taking these tablets.
- Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, out of the sight and reach of children.
